• Windows 11 24H2 will only run if you have a CPU that support the SSE4.2
instruction set. What does this mean? It means you need to make sure
your CPU supports SSE4.2 before installing it on your PC, because it
will not run if your CPU lacks SSE4.2 support.
• SSE4.2 was first introduced in the Intel Nehalem core in November 2008.
The first AMD CPUs with SSE 4.2 support were launched in October 2011.
• To check if your CPU supports SSE4.2, download and run CPU-Z from the link below, and check to see if SSE4.2 is listed in the CPU instructions info as shown in the picture.
