With Windows 11 24H2 Dev Builds becoming increasingly more stable and leaving behind the
evaluation phase of development, now is an exciting time for Windows enthusiasts to start testing
and trying out the upcoming 2024 release, to see what the future of Windows has to offer.
Windows 11 24H2 will become publicly available this fall, but you're able to try out the currently available 24H2 Insider Dev Builds for yourself now. Keep in mind that Dev builds are still works in progress, and as new features and changes roll out, you may encounter new bugs and stability issues, so we recommend testing these releases in a Virtual Machine first before installing on your PC.
Some features and the ability to update Dev builds (via Windows Settings) may only be available if you join the Windows Insider program after installing them on your PC. To join the Insider Program, your
PC must meet the minimum requirements Microsoft has designated for Windows 11.
These builds are created with the same philosophy in mind as our other full featured releases,
to create the lightest, smallest, fastest, most responsive build of Windows possible,
without sacrificing feature or function.
